So, What's Your Style?
I'll admit to being a bit confused by this question; did Maddie-girl (luv ya) mean that no one ever asks the Board what their style is? Or that no one ever goes up to people and asks what their style is?
Probably the former. I'm just slow. It could go either way, though!
Anyway, I recently threw away half my wardrobe, so my style is in flux right now! Need to go shopping! We'll see if my Mom will let me go to DI. (She won't.)
And I really hated those jeans.

I hate even the thought of skinny jeans. I don't know why, but I despise them. I prefer my jeans with a bit of a flared leg, and above all, they must be comfortable and easy to move in. As for tops, I prefer t-shirts that are somewhat tight or slightly shaped. I occasionally go with a nice top, but that involves a lot of extra work.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

Yeah, skinny jeans are fine for models and apparently most of Europe, where legs are entirely skinny and straight. But for most of us humans, we need a flared leg to balance the wider upper portion. And agreed about the jeans. My husband always said that if he wanted his jeans torn up, he would buy them new and wait until they wore out on their own. No need to buy jeans that are already ripped - that's when you throw out jeans.

down with the skinny jeans.NerdGirl wrote:I just can't imagine that skinny jeans would be even remotely comfortable, even if they looked good on the wearer. Stretch pants are one thing, because the fabric is soft and thin. But denim is hard and thick. Mix that with the tightness of stretch pants and it seems like a recipe for pain.
