How many questions did it take?

Post by ahem. »

So. How many pages of questions have you guys asked? Just curious.

I have 19. I didn't bother to sort out comments from questions, so that might be a little off, but not by much. Also there's a bunch of questions not attached to my account, because back in the day you didn't have to register to ask questions. Occasionally I liked an extra layer of confidentiality. :)

I've got 5 pages of questions. And that's with the Best of Month comments.

That does remind me of a question my mom doesn't have time to ask the Board but needs answered (to use the Idaho dialect)...

Oh my. I am in the "more" category. As in, a LOT more. Like, a lot a lot.
Wow. I had no idea I was so...prolific?

Wow, I have 17 pages! That's kind of surprising.

I, too, am in the "more" category. Not a lot more, yet, but more. (33 pages and counting!)

Umm... Wow. I have 33. And now, since I'm waaay bored, I'm going to sort it.

Questions under Giovanni Schwartz
Opinion: 8
Serious questions, with potential funniness by the writers: 30
Questions to a specific writer: 6
Questions where I try to be funny: 10
Questions where I try to be funny and fail miserably: 1
Comments: 11
Questions where I respond to marriage proposals: 1
Serious questions: 55

Questions not under Giovanni Schwartz
Question to specific writer: 3
Opinion: 1
Serious questions, with potential for funniness by the writers: 10
Questions where I try to be funny: 3
Questions where I'm mean to Gimgimno: 1
Looking for a talk/poem/whatever: 5
Questions about how the board operates: 3
Serious questions: 14

That totals to 162. 'case you cared. (Although I might have missed some or added some extras on accident)

I also want to say that one of my favorite questions I've ever asked is this one.

Also, I would just like to point out that I know where most of the writers are from, since I know most of their names (gasp! Don't tell anyone!), so my one last question was not with the goal of stalking in mind.

Your question break-down by category reminded me: Whenever I asked silly/random questions, I used to address them "Dear 100 Hour Bored" I think that used to be tradition.

Does anybody else still do this?

Oh dear. Um, let's just go with "a whole lot more than that" for mine.

PS- Is there a leaderboard for readers?

That was a tradition, once upon a time, though I haven't noticed much evidence of it lately.

I really doubt the editors would want to encourage competition for who can ask the most questions ;)

I believe that there is a "leaderboard", but it's not public information.

Yep, the editors can see that information, but no one else can.

I have 29 pages of questions asked. Some of those were actually thanks to Humble Master before either of us were writers and he'd make me ask his questions for him. Including the question that got X vs. Y banned.

For what it's worth, I have 341 pages of questions answered.

Just barely two pages. But that doesn't count a number of questions I asked with an account that seems to have been closed by the Board and they wouldn't let me reopen it. That was a couple of years ago.

I put this off, since I haven't bothered to log in for a while. But my total count was 72. That was a lot more than I thought, I have to say. Wow.

I've never asked a question. I always make bob do it for me, because I'm lazy sometimes.

I've asked 20 questions with this account. Five pages x 5 = 25 total, so I've made 6 comments.

20 questions is a few more than I remember asking.

And in case you all think my math is screwy, I'm now on 6 pages with just one question on the last page.
