Hey, I've already shipped to Canada, and I just got an order from a lady in Belgium. Mostly I just want to subvert Gio's sacred service with my love of money.

I ship to this one girl all the time who lives in both the UK and Vietnam. Hooray!
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

Hmm...summer plans. Well, I'm trying to find a job so I can FINALLY get up off this stupid couch. But in the meantime, I've been reading a lot and trying to decide what I want to paint on these new canvases I just bought.

Oh, and I'm getting hitched in a couple months. That's kind of a big deal.

Gio, I figured I'd tell you, so that you don't make this faux pas in the field, but.... most Asians find the term "chinaman" offensive.

I'm not Asian. But when I started my master's degree, BYU decided to switch my ethnicity from "Caucasian" to "Pacific Islander or Alaskan Native", and they started sending me the multicultural magazine.

Eh. Sometimes. Depends on if I care about the question. Although sometimes I skip your answers too. Just out of spite because you are kind of a jerk to me sometimes.

Well, in any case, I would hope that after I've mentioned my mixed ethnicity a fair half-dozen times that you would know the answer to your question.

Not that I'm offended, but here's my serious answer to your serious question.

Eh. I realized that I had read that before with a cursory search, but that I just didn't care about you enough to remember it. /honesty

Oh, PS to all of you all, I mostly meant chinamen in an ironic sort of way. I never would call an Asian person that to their face, or to the face of any people that knew an Asian that I know. And I don't know any of you, so I'm safe here.

Well that's cute, because I don't care enough about you to care about you not caring about me. (:

No, no you're not. It is a racially offensive term, and has no place on this forum. I'm not offended, mostly because I don't think you know how offensive many people find it, but it IS a racial slur, and should not be used.

Gio, to be honest, I find that attitude from someone who is waiting to enter the MTC to be a little disturbing. "I don't know any of you so I'm safe here" smacks of doing the right things for the wrong reasons- because of other people's expectations instead of an inner motivation to be Christlike and consistently filled with charity. Be careful there, friend.

Or it sounds like an immature 19-year-old boy about to learn a huge lesson about how life actually works. Good Luck Gio!
