Question #58064 (AND #58114!)

Post by wryness »

(I don't know if it's allowed to talk about more than one question at a time . . . oh well.)

Can I just say that I really loved and appreciated the Board Writers' responses for Question #58064 (about the patriarchal order/the priesthood/temples/etc.) and for Question #58114 (about mothers and education)? It was wonderful to see how concerned and involved Writers were, and I really appreciated the thought and preparation that everyone took into giving their answers. And all of the gospel quotes and insights just made me feel good as I read them.

This is the kind of thing the Board was made for!

Absolutely! What a great day on the board. My heart goes out to the girl with the patriarchal order question, and it was obvious that the Board writers were sincerely concerned for her too. Wonderful job, guys.

To clarify, the Board was made for answering inane questions about campus trivia and events.

But you know, this stuff is nice too.

I too was very impressed with the maturity and thoughtfulness of the answers to this question.

Ditto to the above responses. I know what it's like to struggle with the idea of the patriarchal order, and I very much appreciate the responses from each writer. You all do more than enough to try to help people, and I thank you for that.

Yeah, it was a really good answer. And I think the asker must have a lot of faith and be a pretty strong person to want to stay in the church so badly after going through all of that.
