When I read the article about that game, I really thought it was a joke. I didn't believe it until I had seen it from three other sources. But yeah. Dang.

Yeah, that's why college and national sports are more fun than pro. I mean, it is way fun to see the level of athleticism and skill that NBA stars have, but it's so easily tainted by those money/politics/celebrity issues.

Well, even the college sports are going that way now. All of this conference hopping is just one big greed festival.

Re: the Board's title bar today.

I think I missed something. (Notably that it changed recently.)

Simple story. CPM misplaced his keys last night, and I heard all about it when talking to his wife, The Heartless Siren. She told me it would be funny if I changed the title bar for this morning, so I did. Then CPM threatened me very early this morning with a modified version of my title bar, and then followed up with the current title bar after he found the keys in the garage (where he thought they were all along).

Kind of inside jokey, but sometimes it's worth it if it means you get to mess around with one of the webmasters P:

Oh I get it!

Original title bar: CPM, did you ever find your keys?
altered title bar: added "do you like being a proby again?"
and now current title bar.

I mean, I figured there was some sort of threatening and also lost keys involved. I just didn't know why it changed from the second to the third.

Thanks for telling us the other two title bars. I missed them. And I couldn't figure out why someone would be confused with the current one.

Marduk, I think you posted that in the wrong thread. The Title Bar nominations could use some love and posts other than me correcting mistakes pointed out by others.

In other news, Eclipse is the best of the Twilight films yet. Not necessarily recommending it, just noting that having gone to every midnight premiere.

I told him he was posting it in the wrong place, but he didn't listen to me.

I was awakened at 8am, after going to bed at 3:30. But what woke me up was my new boss offering me the job.

Yes, awesome for Unit! High five!

Also, I just finished the dishes, and I am pretty pleased with myself. Last night, there was not a single piece of silverware in the drawer. Now? Every single dish in this house is clean, and the kitchen has never looked better. I will now be accepting high fives.

High five for Bob!

I just freed up 10 gigabytes of hard drive space by emptying my trash! Also, I like how Macs call it "trash" instead of trying to be all politically correct and calling it the "Recycle Bin".

Those gigabytes could have been put to good use somewhere, NerdGirl, but you just can't be bothered, can you?

Pshh. Typical.
