Yeah, I was starting to wonder when you were tying the knot. Congratulations indeed! I love it when people still exist after they get married.NerdGirl wrote:Yay!!! I thought you were doing that soon. Congratulations!thebigcheese wrote:So I got married the other day. Woot!

I noticed today that if the first line of an email reads, "Please read to the end!!!" ... I'm almost certain not to read any further.

I know not to read an e-mail when the subject line reads (exactly like this) "DO YOU WANT BIGGER BREASTS!!!!"Emiliana wrote:I noticed today that if the first line of an email reads, "Please read to the end!!!" ... I'm almost certain not to read any further.

One of my nephew's married someone on Friday the 13th. Wouldn't that be odd if we were now related.thebigcheese wrote:So I got married the other day. Woot!

Haha, sorry. Mine was actually the week before. You know, I'm not usually a superstitious person, but I'd be wary of getting married on Friday the 13th...vorpal blade wrote:One of my nephew's married someone on Friday the 13th. Wouldn't that be odd if we were now related.

I'm not saying it was luck, but it was odd that my nephew's mother passed away on August 12th, the day before the wedding.

It is awful. They cancelled the wedding reception in his ward because it conflicts with the funeral. We weren't sure they wouldn't cancel the wedding, but they decided it was best to go ahead with it.

You know how that guy in My Big Fat Greek Wedding uses Windex on everything?
I think I do that with baking soda.
Hair feeling greasy lately? Baking soda.
Got a bit of a sunburn? Baking soda.
Out of exfoliating face wash? Baking soda.
Got a bug bite/sting? Baking soda.
Face breaking out? Baking soda.
I seriously keep a whole thing of it plus a spray bottle with water-baking soda solution in my bathroom.

Today is one of those days where I just want to say, "Screw my convictions about love and Christ and making the world a better place! I just want to be mean!" I swear I'm generally a good person ... Someone please tell me I'm not the only one who ever gets this way.

The eleven-year-old throws four-year-old tantrums, the six-year-old doesn't seem to understand right and wrong or consequences, and the two-year-old is spoiled rotten... yes, there are days when I just want to yell at them until they all go away.

Re: Random Ramblings and the Deathly Hallows
I feel really dumb, you guys. I went on an internship and deferring school didn't even cross my mind. I wasn't planning to be back in time for winter semester so I didn't even think to check on my school status. I went this whole summer planning vaguely to attend fall semester but not worrying enough to register on time or anything. So it is that just now, just two weeks before the first day of school, I found out that I need to reapply and will be unable to take fall semester 'cause they're all full up.
I feel so dumb.

Emiliana, I do have moments like that.
Bob, I'm really sorry to hear that. It really makes me sad. I guess this is an experience. An experience, you know, is what you get when you were hoping to get something else.
