Rocky Road
It is an important question.

Re: Rocky Road
What about "blech, I hate chocolate ice cream"? That's my vote. Call me crazy, but I don't like the texture.
Re: Rocky Road
I don't find the marshmallow cream ribbon very fulfilling. But I haven't had ice cream with actual marshmallows in it for a very long time, so I don't even remember if I liked those either.

Re: Rocky Road
Let it be known that I vote for actual marshmallows and Marduk has no opinion but I voted for actual marshmallows on his account. (Sorry.)
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

I don't know the difference because I haven't had Rocky Road in years. Anybody want to donate to my cause?

Re: Rocky Road
Oh yeah, this reminds me: when I was a kid, I used to ignore the ice cream and just go mining for those ribbons of marshmallow cream or peanut butter or whatever. I got pretty good at extracting lots of the good stuff without disturbing the surrounding ice cream. It's basically an art form.
Re: Rocky Road
I will only do this for nuts in my ice cream. I love nuts of any kind, but my favorite are almonds and I have no qualms about digging them out. (Pistachio almond... mmmmm!)Darth Fedora wrote:Oh yeah, this reminds me: when I was a kid, I used to ignore the ice cream and just go mining for those ribbons of marshmallow cream or peanut butter or whatever. Also, my issue with actual marshmallows is that when frozen, they loose their fluffy appeal. They're just chewy sugar. Not quite as bad a frozen gummy bears, but close. The marshmallow ribbon allows for the awesome flavor without the creepy texture of frozen marshmallows.

Rocky road is gross. Blue medal ribbon is delicious.
