Niffler tests Humble Master

I just wanted to keep track of how all this will go. I'm pretty excited to see what Niffler throws at Humble Master and how he addresses each.

I'm worried this means Humble Master is retiring. :(

Or I'm trying to force him to retire before he gets TOO far ahead of me in stats and continues to gloat about it. A girl can only take so much, y'know?

(You all knew I'm Niffler, right?)

I knew, Dragon Lady. Of course, there is always the possibility that someone was impersonating the real Niffler and was sailing under false colors in this question.

Any opinions on who will triumph in this challenge? (Just curious)

FYI - I'm gonna use you guys as the judge. If there's ever a difference of opinion between HM and I as to whether or not he answered the questions satisfactorily according to the original rules laid out in this question, then you guys get to be the final say in the matter.

I think you will win, Dragon Lady, but the test seems a little one-sided. You get to choose all the questions to ask, so persumably you already have a good answer for each of them. There is no way that Humble Master can win; the best he can do is tie if he answers all of your questions correctly.

Well, if she can't stump him, then he wins; that's not a tie, I don't think.

And trust me. It's not easy to come up with questions that are hard enough that I think they'll stump him and yet I can still answer. I've got a list of really hard questions that I don't know the answers to, though. :) Now I just have to give them some good thought as to an answer.

And trust me, vorpal, admitting Humble Master is as good as me is definite defeat. We both agree to this.

Just an FYI, my life got really super busy, so there will be a few day break in the middle of questions. After #4, I think.

And I'm impressed on his camera answer. I vaguely remember reading what Jo said, but I honestly had forgotten when I asked the question. I was thinking more along the lines of a traditional SLR because it has to use film since they photos move by developing in a special potion. Good job, HM!

Good answer, but I seem to remember reading somewhere recently (can't remember if it's cannon or speculation) that Snape visited 12 Grimmauld Place before Moody set up his defenses. So maybe he found them later.

Woo-hoo! That was my question! :)

Oh, and Dragon Lady (as if you need more questions): Dan Radcliffe asked one in the bottom left paragraph seen here. Maybe you can take a crack at it, because I only had one thought that probably isn't right. See what you think.

Ok, so, it'll probably be at least another week before another question gets posted. I'm about to go out of town. And I haven't asked one in days. I've been busy.

Part of the problem is that I find a lot of really hard questions, but haven't been able to think up reasonable answers. Why did I put that restriction in my original challenge? ARGH.

Though, that question I might use. I have an idea to an answer floating around in my head. Heck, if I can form it well enough, maybe I'll even ask one before I go out of town.

Ok, I just asked it. So please, people, no speculation on this question here. Not for at least 100 hours, or until HM answers it himself first. Thanks!

Good answer. I was really impressed.

I personally think, though, that they didn't have Harry drink the Polyjuice potion because the Death Eaters would have assumed that the real Harry couldn't possibly be among the doppelgangers--they wouldn't dare put the Chosen One in such danger, that would be stupid! So, naturally, they hid him as himself, now about as safe as you get. Or so says reverse psychology.

Either that, or one of the situations from #58012 would have been evoked.

I loved the Horcrux/ seven Potters idea. I didn't think of it at all, but I think that is a great observation.

The answer I had in my head was that, if caught, they wanted to make sure the Death Eaters knew Harry had been moved. If they saw random people leaving, the Death Eaters might think Harry was still in Little Whinging and attack the Dursley's home and possibly other Muggles in the area. But if they see Harry leave - even a lot of "Harries" - they would know that they missed their chance.
