When is the best time for ice cream?

Sorry, "anytime is a good ice cream time!" doesn't count. While that may be true (and it is, don't get me wrong), the poll is about the BEST time to eat it.

Historically I've always been a "late snack" ice cream eater, but I'm becoming more and more converted to the "after school snack" mentality.

I'm torn. If I have ice cream in the house, I often eat it for breakfast. But it's great in the evening too.

I only eat ice cream for breakfast in my oatmeal or on my waffles.

I think right after getting it home from the grocery store. Because then you're all hungry from looking at food, and the ice cream is nice and soft from being in the car.
