That's curious, Cat. Far from refuting my statement Marduk seemed to me to wholeheartedly embrace it!

Thanks for the update, krebscout.

This waiting around for the baby to be born reminds me of some scenes in Father's Little Dividend staring Elizabeth Taylor and Spencer Tracy. What was it he said, something like "Waiting for a time bomb to go off." I think. I believe you would enjoy the movie, if you haven't already seen it.

I'm just wondering what kind of doctor helped Marduk into this world to garner such a wonderfully descriptive likening all these years later...
He who knows others is clever;
He who knows himself has discernment.
He who overcomes others has force;
He who overcomes himself is strong. 33:1-4

Actually, I was advocating that doctors grow mustaches and wear Metallica t-shirts.

I just went through my Inbox and cut it down to a third of what it was. Unfortunately, I'm not even close to being done yet :(.

The new ceiling fan I just installed is capable of creating hurricane force winds in my room.

Awesome.

I love it when you walk into a room with a ceiling fan and are blown to the ground once you get under it!

Gumby, you have a weaker constitution than I first thought. You are like a delicate flower.

Am I the only person in history who doesn't really like chocolate-dipped strawberries?

When it cools, the chocolate gets all hard, and it doesn't go well with the soft strawberry. Plus, the flavors are weird together. I like chocolate, and I like strawberries. But the two just don't mix.

You might be the only person in history who likes both chocolate and strawberries but dislikes chocolate-dipped strawberries. The only other people I know who dislike them either hate strawberries or hate chocolate.

This conversation reminds me of #41795.

^^ Wow. I can't think of an answer to that question. But I'm going to go into my kitchen and stare at stuff now and see if I come up with anything. I'm very intrigued. But I actually do think peanut butter and oranges taste good together.

I just watched the Divine Comedy Auditions: Part 1. Most were at least somewhat funny. My money (Monopoly money, that is) is on the girl who brought the rotisserie chicken. The second to last guy, though...not cool, man. Not cool.

Usually you would be seeing me audition sometime in there.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

You know, as often as it's happened before, it really shouldn't surprise me when God answers prayers. But sometimes it still does.

There's a huge spider lurking in my room. It was right by my bed but in the several minutes it took me to steel myself to take care of it it disappeared! Since I already found a baby spider lurking in a shirt I'd left on the bed this is not reassuring. Nothing about spiders is reassuring, except that they eat mosquitoes.

Emiliana, :)

(Before the spider episode I was going to say how surprisingly Competitive I'm turning out to be, but maybe that doesn't surprise anyone...)
