Best one liner: "You're all thinking that this is very nice, but you're asking yourselves 'what does this have anything to do with flying an airplane?'"
My favorite talk: President Uchtdorf on pride during the Priesthood session.
Favorite moment: A 15-ish minute conversation with Marlin K. Jensen I had. We talked about marriage and dating, and my major.
Favorite song: "Dear to the Heart of the Shepherd." As the resident, self-proclaimed expert on the Tabernacle Choir, I about died during this arrangement. It was purely sublime. (this links to it for your listening pleasure)
Most interesting observation: Elder Nelson arguing with President Packer about the latter standing up to give his talk. He actually didn't stand up, but sat on a stool. Elder Nelson was not pleased, judging by his body language (I was sitting VERY close). He finally -- and literally -- threw up his hands towards the end of the musical number, and the security guys carried BKP to the podium. Actually, they sort of dragged him, but carried sounds much more dignified.
Saddest moment: Release of Glenn L. Pace. I always liked his talks, and he toured my mission.
What were some of ya'll's observations?

Re: General Conference reactions
I'll dig up my notes in the morning so I can give you more details, but whoever it was that talked about quarks was awesome. I think maybe my favorite talk was Pres. Eyring on Sunday morning (?) when he talked about how to trust the church leaders.
Re: General Conference reactions
I feel like every Conference has an unintentional theme or two, or perhaps it's just something that I need to hear. This one's: "Simplify and slow down," and "Listen to the prophet, dang it!"
Re: General Conference reactions
It was very clear to me that I needed to hear President Monson's message about gratitude. Funny; I think he gave a similar message a few years ago, but I guess I didn't need it as much then. I certainly do now.

Re: General Conference reactions
"Come, Rejoice" is one of the hymns I have memorized, but I don't remember a time before this conference that I had ever heard it performed - or even sung it in sacrament meeting. Cool.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

As the self-declared Tabernacle Choir fanatic and expert, I find this site to be the best site ever invented by the Church.
