Y'know, this thread has been around for days now. You could have said something earlier. Just sayin' :)

*mutters*just because I haven't been exercising my power lately...

In other news, I neglected to ask a question. I've had one on my mind but didn't get around to it. I'll just sign it with a throwaway nym (already got one picked out) ... if I ever ask it. I am so excited to get shot down it's hampering my ability to type the question out coherently.

I'm going to say that if any more questions are asked as "Record Breaker" during the next 100 hours, they should be rejected. Unless someone wishes to take back any questions, the limit will be the current number of submitted questions--I'm invoking the "very good reason" clause in rule #5 because some were not aware of it. For those of you who don't want to go looking for it (emphasis added):
Dead Cat wrote:5. When you have asked your questions, say so on this thread so we can keep a running total. The upper limit on the total shall be 20 questions unless someone has a very good reason to change it.

Thanks to everyone who participated, and especial thanks to the writers who are so wonderful to answer our questions! Also, if you used "Record Breaker" today and I didn't put you on the list, let me know so I can add you!

Speaking for myself, I deliberately chose questions that don't require research and that I was planning on asking at some point, anyway (i.e., "real" questions, but not hard questions). If they get sloppy answers, I suppose that's my own fault. :?

What I'm really looking forward to is next week when someone writes in complaining that "Record Breaker" got to ask a bunch of questions in a row, which isn't fair. ;)

None of my questions involve any research either, and at least one of them was something I was thinking about asking anyway.

Personally, I'm glad you didn't: I'd much rather be burned in effigy as the Board Writers doubtless are doing already than to be tied up and thrown into the depths of the tunnels under campus with me trying to scream through the gag, "The patron saint supported me! The patron saint supported me!" as the tunnel worms loom over me, wondering if they should eat me fast or slow.

Let's hope they don't decanonize me for my involvement in this . . .

Yeah, sorry guys, I missed that part on the thread, too, somehow. I've been doing far too much reading lately. But neither of my questions require research either!

And if it makes you feel any better, Pseudoname already sent me back the question I sent in and asked for my opinion. I refused to answer it, but if you get too angsty, y'all that know me can send me the question again and I'll write something up for you.

Or we could have had every question be from a different person. That would have been kind of cool. Oh, well.

I think we should have a contest to guess which of us asked which questions.
