Well now. In an interesting twist, I just watched harry potter get beheaded. Bet that'll make filming the last movie interesting. (Link here for the strong of stomach.)

All I did was correct dear Craig...

Washer and dryer are installed! And joy swept all around. (Ok, well, they were installed. Until we heard a rush of water and discovered one of the hoses wasn't on tight enough, so Yellow had to pull the ridiculously heavy machine out to tighten them and is still working on that.) (Also, my washer door can't switch sides! I'm really bugged about this. A lot. Because right now that means both my washer and dryer doors open towards each other. And I am NOT OK with that. So at some point we'll have to switch the two of those, but since Dragon Baby is asleep… we'll save the really noisy things for later.)

If I were to say, "Holy snow, Batman!" would any of you be confused as to what Batman had to do with it? [feeling old right now]

Is it wrong if I watch the music video for the Bangles "Eternal Flame" and now have a crush on Susanna Hoffs?

Marduk, I saw someone with your picture on his shirt when I was out walking today. Just thought you should know.

Last night, my husband told me he's been thinking about the possibility of going back for a PhD so he can someday teach at a university. I've never been more proud and terrified at the same time.

We need an emoticon for that. What does he want to study?

How about in this picture, third row from the bottom, second column from the left?

Ha! He's a finance guy, so he would be studying business and probably teaching investment classes.

Does anyone remember the episode in Arthur where there's a holographic band? I just found out their catchy song is actually a full legit song, "Matalii ja mustii." Video here (the recognizable part is a little over a minute and a half in).

Oh whee-oh-we-oh-we-o-ui-o-ui-o-ui-o-ui-o

I get the part where they stall and become all crazy in my head all the time! I ought to pay attention in case it's subconsciously telling me that my life is stalling and I need to take a banana peel out of the workings.
