I have used design applications on both macs and windows operating systems. I do prefer them on macs. I prefer the text editing software on windows. And in the long run how I use computers does not justify my purchasing a mac. I didn't have a choice in my current computer, but I like it just fine. When you are offered a free computer, you don't question it.
