But I'm surprised that the pie answer didn't emphasize Village Inn more. My husband and I have done a lot of searching for good pie places (They're hard to find! Most restaurants don't serve pie -- only cake, cheesecake, or brownies. Lame!). But Village Inn? They have a HUGE selection of pies, and most of them pretty good. I will continue to advocate the Caramel Pecan Silk Supreme until my untimely death from eating too much pie.

Anyway. Anybody got plans for pi day? We're going to try and bake a pie, even though neither of us have ever done it before. A brave new world...

Today is my son's birthday, and we made a bunch of tiny pies (mini-muffin sized). Maybe we should do that for pi day, too.

I usually try to memorize more digits of pi every year, but I've been really busy and will continue to be really busy for a while, so I may not even get the chance to brush up on what I've memorized in the past .

I believe both the physics and math departments are celebrating pi day Monday afternoon. Pie eating contests, pi regurgitation contests, the works.

Also: the English department is having a scrabble contest.

Yeah, after I said that I meant to look it up to make sure I wasn't wrong, but I didn't. Oh well! I'm glad you're celebrating it anyway.
