I dunno, V. Seems a little ... fluid to me.

This might be a good time to say that I think blood doesn't count as a fluid but as a body part, especially if it's inside the body. I really think that.

I don't know what you all are talking about. My teardrops come out in ice cube form, which is not at all fluid.

Just kidding. I'll think of another one. Maybe.

I'm inclined to agree with you, but I can't articulate why. It seems more functional, somehow, than other bodily fluids.

I'd say it may have to do with the cellular nature of blood. The other fluids that come to mind: interstitial, lacrimal, sweat, etc. are acellular in nature. As an interesting aside: most medical sources I'm aware of consider blood to be a connective tissue along with tendons, cartilage, bone and fat.

So, they might happen to have cells in them, but those cells aren't the point of the fluid? (There's probably a more scientific way of phrasing that.)

So, how small is the smallest "body part"? Is it the cell, cellular structures, DNA?

Yeah, I just realized I have an "antibodies" lyric. It's a part of the body, but kind of small. Would it count?

(no one steal antibodies now.)

Those are not bodily fluids. :)

(still not entirely sure this should count, but we'll go for it. I'm almost out of songs anyway.)

So, operating under the assumption that blood, while inside the body, counts as a part in ways saliva does not, my entry for today:

"So will you let me come in? The skeeters have found me and they're crowding round my blood."

"Then your heart will start to thump, in your throat you'll get a lump"
"Never Tell A Lie"

(I fully planned to come here to bear a gracious retreat, but then I thought of this one! Magical!)

(Apologies for waiting all day. If it's just the two of us I might suggest a sudden death round [which will be very short].)

I'll just...I'll just finish this up real quick, shall I? Because, as I looked at my handy dandy list, I realized that we'd never done mouth. I mean, really? REALLY?

So, I guess, to solidify my win (which ... I wasn't expecting...I only have two more songs max!) I will do one more, then get started on next round!

"In the terminal, she sleeps on my shoulder, hair falling forward, mouth all askew."
"Recessional," Vienna Teng

(It took me forever to think of a mouth song, which is maybe why it hadn't been done.)

Aha! I knew it had to've been done. Wonder why I couldn't find it on the list?

(Well, I won anyway. I can do one more if people want to contest it.)

I can't believe I forgot to post yesterday. But I didn't have many more either, so you win, C4.
