Disappearing Question
I would have sworn I read Board Question #62454 which just posted about an hour ago on Wednesday or Tuesday morning before work. Am I imagining things, or did it get pulled and re-posted? Did anyone else notice this? Has it happened before?

Re: Disappearing Question
I noticed the same thing, only it was reposted without the picture. I had to pull a question at least once when I was an editor, but I haven't noticed it happening since I retired.

...and her answer now says this:Katya wrote:it was reposted without the picture.
Eirene wrote:Some Board writers might have photographic evidence prominently displayed all over their facebook page.
Re: Disappearing Question
So maybe she realized the picture could compromise her identity, even with the brown bag drawn over her head?

Re: Disappearing Question
That's basically what I was thinking. Maybe some of her Facebook friends are also Board readers. When they see the same photo in both places, they'll make the connection and her secret identity goes POOF!
Re: Disappearing Question
Although if she has the pictures all over Facebook, someone is going to put two and two together. I'll say that Jimmer used his wizard powers (that's right, he went to Hogwarts) to not allow nonathletic pictures to be posted on a BYU website. He also has a time turner and polyjuice potion for emergencies. But you didn't hear that from me.

Re: Disappearing Question
Well, I know the first thing I did when I saw that picture was go and look Eirene up on Facebook to see if she had that picture there (she did). So it was an identity compromiser for sure.
Maybe she started having stalkers.
I also like Dead Cat's suggestion, and it was actually the first one I thought of before I got here and read everyone else's thoughts. It might've been a Jimmer situation.

Re: Disappearing Question
In response to the original question, I'd like to point out that Jimmer can sometimes be seen in the library.

Re: Disappearing Question
I've known Eirene personally for years, and the picture in question is definitely a compromiser. And I also know that stalkers freak her out.

Bingo. In my excitement to brag about my Jimmer Encounters, I was a little...indiscreet at first. You guys have sharp eyes!thebigcheese wrote:Maybe some of her Facebook friends are also Board readers.
