DC and Autotune

Re: DC and Autotune
That is some good singing. Some people just need autotune, though, like Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking.
Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.
Re: DC and Autotune
In other news, I have decided that DC should do a parody of Rebecca Black's "Friday," only it should be called "Sunday" and it should be about deciding where to sit at church.
Re: DC and Autotune
Ha! Thanks for the link. (Also, I think the lyrics to that version actually make more sense than the original ones.)

Great. Now that song is stuck in my head again. [sigh]

Whitney is amazing, across the board.

Re: DC and Autotune
DC has definitely done some great songs over the years. Single Ladies, Halo, Provo Utah Girls... All excellent.
Re: DC and Autotune
I've liked the videos in the past, but this is the first that I thought was viral quality amazing. It has a broader audience then most of the others, the concept is hilarious, and the videography and story boarding are fantastic. Big win.thebigcheese wrote:DC has definitely done some great songs over the years. Single Ladies, Halo, Provo Utah Girls... All excellent.
Re: DC and Autotune
Stupid question, but is "Firebolt" a parody of another song? (I'm not clued in to pop culture enough to catch these things—I'd never heard "California Gurls" before "Provo Utah Girls" came out.)

What would I do without my Board buddies to explain things to me?

Anyone else thinkk the positioning of the fireworks in that video are a little unfortunate?NerdGirl wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGJuMBdaqIwKatya wrote:Stupid question, but is "Firebolt" a parody of another song? Re: DC and Autotune
I think the whole fireworks-popping-out-of-her-chest thing is just a tad strange. But I really like the song, so...meh.
(Except for the first line. "Do you ever feel like a plastic bag?" Really Katy? You couldn't come up with a better first line?)
