So, poorly worded question! But did no one really see that werf was asking "On average, how long does a woman outlive her husband compared to how long a man outlives his wife?" Because that's what I thought, but everyone was so caught up in the mansion-building they didn't address it.

Oh well. This is why I spend on average 3 drafts and half an hour on every question I submit, so there's no chance of misinterpretation.
