Plugging things in in France
Okay, I need help. I'm going to France for a week on at the end of the month and I want to be able to plug my stuff in. If I buy this, can I plug in my stuff in France? My stuff is my macbook, ipad, iphone, and kindle, but I can charge my kindle by just connecting it to my macbook. http://store.apple.com/ca/product/MB974ZM/B#overview

It will work for all the Apple stuff. It is just a set of plugs that attach to the charger.

You should be able to also charge your iPad and iPhone via your MacBook. And yes, that should work to plug your stuff in in France. And… almost everywhere else in the world. I had one somewhere I'd have been happy to lend you. Except… I have no idea where it is. I've moved four times since last I used it.

Okay, awesome. Thanks. I've noticed that for someone with a PhD in something physics-y, I'm actually pretty clueless about electronics.
