He currently has a regular in-the-office job in Orem, and the boss said it is fine if he works from home if we move. He has worked from home before and on some long vacations, even.
Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
That sounds very preferable. I for one could never handle depending on unreliable income such as freelancing while things such as rent remained 100% "reliable." Then again, I'm no rock star coder and not of the entrepreneurial mindset.

I am surprised and pleased that the downtown Provo temple will preserve the basic Victorian look of the former Tabernacle. I will miss it as a community center (some of my best memories are choir concerts in that building!), but I think that historic Provo has lovely homes, Academy Square, the neo-classical Maeser . . . I find contemporary church and temple planning to be very homogenous and uninspired, but 19th-century Mormon architecture is gorgeous (Salt Lake temple, churches on capitol hill and near Trolley Square, etc.)

I wore by Board T-shirt today, and got more comments on it than I think I ever have before. It was fun.

I was just at a barbecue for a BYU-sponsored club, and the only drinks available were Dr. Pepper and Coke. It was kind of ironic.

You know what. Places in the US need to offer more juice to drink. Or maybe it is just me. But I'm to the point where I almost can't stand soda pop.
Either way, juice is better.

You are? Why?
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

She's moving here to hang out with me all the time, of course!
Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
Pretty much.
I got a job in Salt Lake, and since I don't know anything about living in Salt Lake I thought I'd transition by moving to Provo first, especially because once D5 has her baby next month I want to hang out with him all the time. So I need to find a place to live (preferably along the express bus route) and start packing, even though I can't actually move down until the end of the month, due to previous commitments like our stake play.

Ha. I just heard LDS actor Kirby Heyborne is going to be in a Farrelly Brothers version of The Three Stooges as Sophia Vergara's husband, who she wants to kill.

A well-written article on the only Utahn to die aboard the Titanic. Irene Corbett comes across as a complex, intelligent figure. (And the photos are good quality!)

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I had a dream about you, mico. But I have no clue what it was about. I just read your name and it triggered my memory. Ok, a tiny clue. It had to do with your nym and something about twice. Giving you something twice? I don't know. I should have followed conference advice and written it down immediately upon waking up.
Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
Hopefully it was something nice, like you wanted to give me... cookies twice? That's really funny though.
You should've written it down, yeah!
