Re: Encore: Occupations
Good point. And unfortunately, that is all of the song that I remember, so I shall offer a replacement.
"Surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors shaking in their armor, wishing they'd've had the strength to stand."
-Casting Crowns, "Voice of Truth"

I love that song.
"When the jester sang for the king and queen in a coat he borrowed from James Dean."
-Don McLean (no clue whether I spelled that right), "American Pie"

How does sudden death mode work? We just trade off posting until someone runs out?

Re: Encore: Occupations
Yeah, that's essentially it yayful, although since I posted first, you'll technically have to post two in a row at some point to get ahead of me.

Re: Encore: Occupations
I suppose I shall do that now, then. Thank goodness we're doing this over the weekend when I actually have internet access for more than an hour or two per day; otherwise it would take about as long as the regular rounds.
"Don't fear the reaper, baby I'm your man."

"Hey, mister tambourine man, play a song for me."

Re: Encore: Occupations
Reaper? I don't know about that one....mythical creature is generally not considered an occupation.
I'll posit this one for ya though: "Well, me and sloppy joe got married. We got six kids and we're doing just fine down in lunch lady land."
-Adam Sandler, "Lunch Lady Land"

Re: Encore: Occupations
True, but there are reapers other than the grim variety. We just don't hear about them anymore because of modern farm equipment. (I did take that quite thoroughly out of context, though, if that's what you were referring to.)
"Then the cook would appear from behind the scenes and say in a voice that was broken with sorrow, 'I'm afraid you must wait and have dinner tomorrow.'"

Re: Encore: Occupations
And I think yayfulness won this one. Yayful, that means that you can pick the category for the next round. The threads in Random Chatter with "encore" in the title can give you an idea of what's been done in the past.
