I guess I'm one of those rare people who gets to use her foreign language knowledge regularly—I'd say at least once a week (generally French). Not that I couldn't do my job without it, but it sure helps. Also, I got my first cataloging job because I could read German written in Fraktur script and I've even had a chance to use my Welsh in a professional capacity.

Just to disagree with Concealocanth, I haven't found a translation of Don Quixote that I really like. You should read the original!
