I wore my Perry shirt to scout camp, and received many a compliment from passing cub scouts. One even pulled up his camp shirt to show me the Perry shirt he was wearing underneath.

I've been addicted to Stargate: Atlantis. It is terrible. I'm having trouble getting what I need to do done. :-/

Almost done with season 2 though! Not bad for. . . three days.

I just saw Troll 2. It was just as terrible as I'd been lead to believe, and considerably more wonderful.

Last week, our library got a donation of a 12-DVD set of Hercule Poirot episodes. Time for a marathon!

Katya, that's awesome! And, 6 seasons of Poirot were just added to Netflix streaming, so I very much feel the excitement. :)

Pantone: The 20th Century in Color. A very beautiful and interesting coffee-table book.

I watched Video Game High School. One of the most fun web series I've come across. :D I recommend it.

I definitely thought this song was by Mumford & Sons when I heard it on the radio for the first time today. I guess it's possible for good things to come from American Idol, after all.

I'm delving into the works of Olivier Messiaen today, starting with Quartet for the End of Time, which has possibly the most interesting backstory and unusual first performance of any piece that I'm aware of. (See the video's description, I'm too lazy to restate it here.) Also, can I just say that Music 202 with Dr. Howard is one of the best classes offered at BYU? I'm so glad I took it.

Every time I listen to Bon Iver, I fall in love with their music again. So deep, so beautiful...

Just rewatched The Hunt for Red October. It holds up pretty well, although special effects have obviously improved in the meantime. (Actually, I think it's a credit to the story that it's character-driven, not special effects-driven.)

I'm lazy. It's too long. And it's late. 3 strike and you're out. What's the gist? Actually, I can probably guess the gist. And I bet it really is funny. Once again, too bad I'm lazy.

I've heard of that! I can't remember where, though... Chapter 1 is pretty awesome. I'll have to read the rest as soon as I have a bit of time.
