I'm surprised by the large number and variety of traits with which researchers have found correlations with the ratio of one's index finger to one's ring finger. Multiple correlations in the categories of physiology and disease, psychological disorders, physical and competitive behavior, cognition and personality, management, sensory perception, sexual orientation, transsexualism, and human development and growth. Some of these may be pure bunk, of course.

I also learned something that changed a long-held assumption of mine tonight. Apparently, Morton's toe (second toe being longer than big toe) is prevalent in less than 20% of the population. I have such a toe, my wife has such a toe. I thought it was the norm. Guess given my 'nym I should have known about these sorts of things

Serious question. I have the good fortune to be good-looking, and have been considering modeling. However, I don't want to be the female Chad Hardy. Would I have to appear sporting a parka? (I'm guessing not, considering what BYU art class models wear.) Does it depend on the intended use - are swimsuit photos for JCPenney okay but not kosher on a calendar? I don't want the full wrath of the HCO and the BYU registrars to come find me. Anyone have experience? Unlike Mr. Hardy, this would have nothing to do with the Church.

I was under the impression that you were no longer at BYU. Also, that you weren't on a mission. Also, that you didn't play up your "mormon-ness." If all of these are true, it really doesn't matter what you do, there's little chance of any blowback.

It's possible for an institution to deny you a diploma if you haven't graduated yet (as was the case with Mr. Hardy), but I don't think they can punitively withhold your transcripts.

Unless you meant ring finger, no. Longer index finger is indication of femininity. Or less testosterone.
