So I am making an effort to attend institute more often. This is only partially related to my calling to my ward's institute counsel. My stake only has it on Thursday night, and I work every other Thursday. So I texted a few friends and after weighing the options (including distance to walk, likelihood of seeing someone I know and my ability to consistently attend) decided to go to my friend 3d's stake institute the weeks I work on Thursday. I was kind of excited about this all day. A fresh stake full of boys I don't know and actually doing something social like on my own. Any way, I got there early, sat down and started talking with the couple sitting behind me. I noticed 3d walk in and said hi. He came over and started to sit by me. I told him that he didn't have to sit by me. He shrugged said something about not seeing anyone he knew and sat down anyway. After institute he saw a friend from his ward(henceforth known as Aardvark) and the two of them were talking. I was walking beside the two of them as they were chatting, with Aardvark in the middle. 3d eventually got around to introducing me to Aardvark . Aardvark responded with "Yeah I figured you were together". For some reason this bugged me. I brushed it off, explaining my work/calling/institute situation. No one dwelt on it and it wasn't a big deal. But I'm trying to figure out why that statement bugged me so much. Was it that 3d and I get along so well together? Was it that Aardvark was cute? Probably though it was just that I've been exhausted all week and it was something other than programming to think about. Stupid programming and allergies muddling my mind and getting frustrated when friends act like friends and don't ignore my presence.

On another note, I dressed up today. I love looking good. And I ran into a couple boys in my ward that I may be interested in while I looked good.
