I probably have more lax standards about language than many people here, but in the workplace, I'm 100% square. I feel like it creates a hostile environment, and people insult each other at my new job CON-STANT-LY in very vulgar terms.

So some dude has been on the phone in the parking lot adjacent to my apartment building for a good thirty, forty-five minutes, yelling about how he's all the way over in [my city] and this *()$#!&ing *(!&*(%)er didn't even show up. And something about a dime-bag costing as much as an ounce. Yup.

My eyes don't want to open today, and making them stay open is just making everything fuzzy. I didn't even skimp on sleep last night.

My roommate did the randomly-yelling-at-3-am-thing again last night. And now my physics homework is refusing to make sense. And it's due tonight. Yaaaaay.

Physics 121. I went and asked the TA's, and it turns out the thing I was missing was "the two angles will add up to 90 degrees." Hahaha, *facepalm*

That's the class I TA'd four times in a row. Good times. :)

Just caught something mid-saccade that I never noticed before. The word therapist is a compound word.

My roommate is currently singing and playing the guitar to an empty room, probably because he had a great date last night. He really has a terrible voice.

I just spent 3.5 hours deep-cleaning our apartment's fridge. I literally took apart every single thing that could possibly be taken apart, and bleached it. Why? Because the so-decomposed-it's-liquified-all-over-the-bottom-shelf chicken was not the most disgusting thing in there. It turns out that the fact that there was no room in the fridge for any of my food was actually a blessing in disguise.

I am now morbidly curious about what was worse than that chicken.

Well, I suppose the chicken was objectively more disgusting, but some rotting vegetables grossed me out more for some reason. There was also something in the freezer that was either a mangled chicken foot or a mangled fish head.

Hmm, I think I'd probably vote for rotting chicken being grosser, but vegetables can get pretty grody, too (spoken by someone who once left potatoes in a cabinet and forgot about them).

Well, the liquified chicken was just like cleaning up any other liquid spill, but the vegetables were half-solid and half-liquid, so it was a grosser texture.

Yeah, I know what you mean. :)

The grossest rotting food smell I've ever smelled was rotting potatoes. I don't know what it is about them, but man.
