Orange Marmalade

Post by Yarjka »

Question #69044
I also don't care much for orange marmalade on its own.

I buy orange marmalade for the single purpose of slathering it on a whole chicken and roasting it. Orange-marmalade roasted chicken is one of the greatest and simplest meals I know. You can even stuff the chicken with oranges and make it all fancy, but there's no need for that. The orange marmalade will make the chicken taste delicious.

I love marmalade. And I was kind of surprised that zedability first tried it in europe, because it's pretty ubiquitous up here. I especially like it with cream cheese.

I've eaten it once, in the MTC; I didn't like it, but it might be one of those things that just has to grow on you. If I'd had more time, I would have bought some and done experiments.

Generally speaking, PTC-tasters hate things like orange marmalade, grapefruit, and black coffee.
We should have a PTC-tasting party. Slightly less sketchy than it sounds, I promise. :P

I literally never saw it, only heard about it, until Sketchy London Hotel With Free "Breakfast".

This should so not be in this forum, but it was too good to pass up.

Weird, because I am currently enjoying a grapefruit (and in fact typing one-handed because my other hand is a bit sticky). I still think it's the kind of thing that you just have to get used to. When I first tried herbal tea and fake coffee on my mission, I thought they were nasty. Now I love both of them.

Did you like mate? I honestly would prefer licking the bottom of a lawn mower than that stuff.

Missionaries weren't allowed to drink it in my mission. I had one sip, but honestly I was too busy being furious at my companion for basically coercing me into it to notice whether I liked it or not.

I also like bitter things generally. I used to always get weird looks when I'd ask for grapefruit juice at Denny's as a kid. They'd always be like "are you sure?" and I'd be like "of course."

I squeeze the juice out of grapefruits after I eat them. I think I might actually like the juice more than the grapefruit itself.

I'm guessing she meant you wouldn't make a grilled cheese with Roquefort.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.
