I haven't bought any myself, but I have noticed that some of the books and apartment things they have for sale are a lot cheaper on Amazon. If you buy a purse or something you should let us know how it goes.

I really like the tone of their advertising copy. Whether it's on products or career openings, I think it matches my voice very well. I'm thinking I should apply and go move to CA.

I'm trying to write a blog post on my thoughts on abortion and I'm failing all over the place. I didn't know having opinions could be so hard!

I gave up on it for now. I'll have to try again tomorrow.

Funny, if you go to most Google pages of other languages, such as Google.fr, up in the top left corner you see "+Vous," just like the English version has "+You," while if you go to Google.de, you see "+Ich." I wonder why the Germans have "+I" unlike all the others I've seen.

I know I should probably base my vote on issues instead of on how well the candidate's blurb has been proofread, but I'm having a hard time with that.

Maybe I can factor errors into my decision a little more when I'm voting for the state school board? The "disfunctional" blurb is a real "chalenge" for me to overlook.

Did you just ask this same question on the Wikipedia Reference desk? (If not, that's a massive coincidence!)

Marduk's niece is wandering around the house looking for her grandfather, who left for the airport this morning. Her father is currently showering or something. And every time I try to talk to her, all she does is temporarily stop yelling for one or the other. She refuses to let me help her. And I thought we were friends!

Well, my guess (and it's only that) is that translation details are decided independently by different foreign language groups, and the German group just happened to go with "ich" instead of some variation on "you."

 But I spent a while looking around the other day, and it appears all of them use the nominative case, whether it's first (in Germany's) or second (everyone else's) person.

Note to self... do not attempt to do homework late at night in a place where you can easily fall asleep... especially without setting an alarm...

I feel myself "pulling a Zed" and wanting to scream I. DO. NOT. HAVE. THREE. WEEKS. Advice?

(Basically, I want to drop it all and move somewhere for a guy RIGHT. NOW. Considering our five-hour phone conversations, I feel like it'd preserve my sanity.)

Oooh weird story, google.co.kr has "누구?" which means "who?" instead of "you" or "I." Put it in the list of weird-language-Google-stuffs. Although, no Korean I've ever met actually *uses* Google that much anyway. They all use Naver and Daum instead.

Chinese people all use baidu! Actually, I've discovered its results are a lot more betterer than The Goog when searching for Chinese anything (translations, info, pictures).

I just got this email:
Dear BYU Alumni:

BYU is fortunate to have extraordinary alumni who have done remarkable things. BYU alumna Whitney Johnson (BA ’89), co-founder of Clayton M. Christensen’s investment firm Rose Park Advisors (Disruptive Innovation Fund) has written a book about how remarkable things happen when you dare to dream. Whitney’s recent keynote address and interview at the Women Tech Awards is now available as a BYU Alumni Webcast. We invite you to watch and share this message http://bit.ly/byualumniwebcast_whitneyjohnson.

Our BYU education gave us a sure foundation for lifelong learning and service. May you continue to find joy and fulfillment as you Dare, Dream, Do and stay connected for good.

2 questions:
No, actually just one.

If I am a BYU alum a) what am I still doing in school, and b) where is my diploma?

Oh look, it turned into 2!
