I came across this analysis on deviantart, and it was a perspective I kind of liked.

I do have to say, the movie was much funnier than I expected.

I haven't seen the movie, but I read the book a few years ago when it came out (my dad found it at the library and read it and then told me I should read it), and I loved it. The book is funny and entertaining and I would recommend it to anyone. I'm sure I'll see the movie at some point.
