It's a long one, but the short version is my mom got arrested last summer while she was visiting because she went by her ex's house to "say hi" and I guess he didn't care for that. And we are STILL dealing with the ramifications of that to this day. and, of course, i have to talk to her lawyer because she lives in arkansas and she got picked up here in texas.

seriously, i just want parents who bake cookies, read weird books, and tell embarrassing stories about me.

Hey, I have family members who bake me cookies, plaster their walls with photos of me, don't get arrested (my great-grandma's uncle did--does that count?) and embarrass me frequently. It's a bit of a small blessing.

Sister Monson's funeral was very nice. I could have gone to it, but I opted to watch it from my desk so I could eat lunch at the same time. I've never been to a funeral that isn't nice.

So...I don't run. I used to--back in 8th grade--but I don't anymore. I'm also self-conscious about how I run, so I don't like running in front of people.

Well, I was in a bit of a mood tonight, and I'd been alone in my apartment for a good four hours. I was frustrated, so I finally went out and took a walk. At least, that was my plan.

In order to cross the road before the light turned, I needed to run across. Which coincided with the song that randomly came up on my iPod. Which turned into a ten-minute mile run around campus.

Unfortunately, twenty minutes after getting home, I'm still having a little bit of trouble recovering. At least I'm not really in a mood anymore!
