Red Slug in Japanese Maple - great title for a movie... but Squirrel, why did you bring it to Utah?

Well, my pet banana slug of three years had recently died, and I was planning on bringing it to my first semester of college with me. So when I found the European red slug at Costco, I decided to bring that one instead. (My roomie/sister had a Beta fish on her desk at the time, so I decided it would be fun to have a slug instead of a fish.)

Ha, glad you brought the living one instead of the dead one to school. My best friend from high school went to UC Santa Cruz, where the mascot is the Banana Slug!
