I also have a pretty terrible memory, which is why keeping a journal every day is important to me. I'll read back on it and be like "oh yeah!" So, I guess I have memories from the past, but I don't often think about them, and often I just remember remembering them to the point where it's not really a memory but a thing that happened in my life. Sort of like... the more you remember something the less real of a memory it becomes?
