BYU cheerleaders
Actually, 100 lbs would be an overestimate for the cheerleaders I have personally seen at BYU. They are unusually short. Several years ago (probably as far back as '07 or '08), my sister took a cheer camp at BYU. When I was looking for her, I mistook the instructors for the 7- to 12-year-old girls, that's how short they were. I'd estimate they were 4'10' or 4'11". Gymnasts are often short to begin with, and their practice can stunt their growth. 100 lbs isn't underweight if you're barely 5 feet tall.
Re: BYU cheerleaders
Ah, I'm terrible at estimating height and weight. I mostly went off my old roommate and her gaggle of roommates who all tried out for the BYU cheer team. My roommate didn't make it but one or two of the other girls did and most of them were slightly shorter than me (about 5'3") and I know that all weighed about 110-115 pounds. Regardless of the average weight of BYU cheerleaders, I know there isn't a weight limit. But you're right in that cheerleaders do tend to be pretty small. But holy cow, the things they can do....
Re: BYU cheerleaders
I'd argue they're pretty darn popular, seeing as one snagged Jimmer. :P
