Yeah, turns out that even though we were very compatible in terms of religion/spirituality, I was way too nerdy for him and wasn't anywhere near nerdy enough for me.

Maybe that therapist was right whe he said I should be dating someone with at least a masters degree and/or a high IQ. (I thought he was being a bit pretentious.)

I just laughed out loud at that. Don't know if it's true in your case, but it's fun to imagine a pretentious therapist looking over his glasses at hoi polloi. Maybe he was coming on to you?

I don't think so...but he did offer to set me up with someone he knew who had a masters in (mechanical?) engineering.

I saw Leibniz today! (The Board writer, not the 17th century mathematician (or the cookie).)

It won't be the first time, thanks to a mistake I once made.

My stake president asked me to contact the local cable companies and media outlets to let them know about General Conference. Not only were we hoping for publicity, we were hoping they would broadcast the conference. He gave me a letter from Salt Lake explaining how to tune in to the proper satellite channels. The letter was really intended just for the stakes. I carelessly gave all the information to the local media outlets and that information included the priesthood session. I was embarrassed later when members of the stake came to the stake president to ask why we were now broadcasting the priesthood session. The stake president then came to me.

It was actually broadcasted. I think we were all a little surprised by that. There was a trick to receiving broadcasts not meant for the general public, and I must have given that away.

For my own sanity, I should not look at the comments section of the DNews.

I avoid the comments section of pretty much everything.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

I have a job, but now I'm doing the, "Do I stay in Provo? Move north toward the job?" thing while also considering grad school. MLS? Integrated Marketing Communications? Not at all?

The place where I live is basically a mini-Provo. We got together at a bishopric member's home for the BYU-Utah game and it was about 80/20 BYU/Utah fans.
