When reading question #75412, the cynic in me assumed that the text "Professional Driver, Closed Course" was primarily CYA (they show the text when a minivan slowly stops in front of a house, even) and that one of the major qualifications for the one doing the driving was signing the waiver at the commercial filming site.

Ha, I love that there's a Wikipedia article on that acronym. We say that a lot in teaching, too.

I would definitely have suspected that. In this lawyerly age we live in, I personally would be very nervous in a job that involved daily interfacing with other people's kids.

Aaaaaaand that is exactly why we have teachers' unions. My job is insured for up to $7 million through my union, as I recall.
