Probably some of both. I actually am the same jean size when I started college almost a decade ago (I'd say I weigh about 5 - 10 pounds more, at most), but skinny jeans make my calves look stupid and are too high on the waist for my taste.Emiliana wrote:Or maybe there's more of a generational gap than we realized? Remember how opposed I was to diamond engagement rings? I feel like I should have included a proviso on vintage rings of certain cuts and styles that are heirlooms. "Famous last words" as they say. ;)

I just paid less than $2/gal for gas ($1.999 of course). I wonder what this trend will bottom out at.

Gas has historically been below $2 (adjusted for inflation) basically two times in the past. This is really a huge event.

I'm not a big fan of Open Sans or flat design in general. CNN's new website look brought on these thoughts.

A couple of days ago I bought gas at this price in Mesa Arizona. It is much more expensive where I live in California.Digit wrote:I just paid less than $2/gal for gas ($1.999 of course). I wonder what this trend will bottom out at.

Lower gas prices are awesome, but OPEC is going to ruin the economic growth that's been going on in my area because of the Eagleford Shale. So I am feeling conflicted.

Just remember to enjoy it while you can, because Obama has direct control of the gas prices and he's going to make them go back up again soon. All of this is part of a big plot to raise gas prices in Europe, by the way.
