I have a date with a shy pre-mi that usually is uncomfortable with talking to anyone, let alone girls, but he is somewhat comfortable talking with me! Hooray for helping shy guys get out of their shells! I'm a firm believer in pre-mis being comfortable with conversation before they have to talk to sometimes unfriendly strangers; also believe in pre-mis casually dating before the mission so as not to freak out around girls when they come home.

I wish I had something relevant to say regarding this.... maybe I'll go back in time to when men wore high heels and try them on. Or wait for them to come into style.

Eh, true, but I would argue not as much if you casual date before hand. Otherwise, you're adding the anxiety of your first dates with the RM syndrome (battling the irony of being scared of girls that you're supposed to marry them ASAP.) It seems like it would be more stressful. I have a friend that never went out on a date before his mission, and I worry about how he will deal with it when he comes home.

Yeah, my brother is in the same boat. He, for his own odd reasons, isn't planning on going out with anyone until he gets off his mission. Maybe I can make an argument that way to persuade him to go on a casual date before he leaves. (Although he will freak out anyways when he gets back assuredly.)

Dude, he's in high school. Kind of negates definition of "REliving."

My choral glory days were probably in 7th grade. I was in the Salt Lake Children's Choir. (I was even a poster girl!) We went to Vegas and LA. And sang for the opening of Libby Gardner Hall. Ralph Woodward Jr. is an excellent composer.

I was in All-State Choir too. To my annoyance, the Tabernacle was being renovated, so we sang in the nice marshmallow that is UVSC's basketball stadium.

But yeah. I was no choral prodigy like some of you seem to be. That would be a fun thing to get back into, but I've never really been a stand-out soloist--mroe the type who can hold a tune and a section together.
