I just noticed- there are three o's in the word "room" in the title bar quote. Has it been like that the whole time? It kind of makes me giggle, picturing someone saying "rooom" kind of like a cow mooing.

And also, Happy Birthday, Goober.

Yes. It's been like that the whole time.

Also, happy birthday, Goober. I would come up with some more creative way to say it, but I don't want Sam to try and say something funny that goes way over my head again.

It wasn't supposed to be funny. Las mañanitas is what is sung in Spanish, or at least in Mexico, during someones birthday.

And I am in accord with all those above in congratulating you on the passing of another year for you Goober.

Oh. Well you can just translate the normal song into Spanish just as easily, and then you don't have to remember all those new verses.

Feliz Cumpleanos a ti
feliz cumpleanos a ti
feliz cumpleanos a Goober
feliz cumpleanos a ti.

Speaking of alternate languages, a fun thing to do is to go to Google Language tools, type in something really random, and then translate it through all the languages in order down the list, skipping English, and then translating it back to English at the very end to see what it turns into. For example, I did something about underwear, and the word underwear, which was the main subject of the sentence wasn't even in the final product. As a matter of fact, if I remember correctly, none of my origianl words except for "the" and possibly "is" were still in the final product.

Dude, I said that ages ago, but no one listened to me.

Um . . . and the fact that the linked box says something about being edited on June 2 isn't relevant, is it?

No, if you go down a ways, you get to something that bob said about it having three ooo's in rooom, but it was edited the same day bob posted here, so I'm not sure...

As a matter of fact, it was edited exactly one minute after bob linked to it.

Sorry. I knew you guys were going to point that out. See, I noticed only then that the first word was 'where' and not 'why,' so I changed it. And then realized that all y'all were going to think I'd been lying.

I'm glad you think so well of me, as to assume I'm lying...

Not lying, more like playing a prank. That's something I can believe you'd do.

I actually remember seeing that but being too lazy to make fun of it. So I can vouch for bob.
And there's my mitzvah for the year.

Wow, do I ever feel showered with goodness and light...

Wow, SWKT actually contributed, positively. I am not sure if I am shocked or not... or maybe it is my meds kicking in, or both.

Yeah, I believed you (Really, I did), but it was the lawyer in me (Funny how that is, seeing as the closest thing I'm related to in the court is a bailiff) that made me point out the whole in your case.

I may be mistaken, Giovanni, but I'm pretty sure the word you want is "hole." At least, your sentence makes much more sense to me that way.

Oops. Yeah. I thought about editing my post so that it would have neither the word "hole" nor the word "whole" so that you would look dumb, but then I decided to keep it honest and make you look good (perse) still.

Gio, if you can't use the phrase "per se" properly, you definitely don't have a lawyer in you.
