No users returned in displayNames!
Is it just me, or is there something wrong?

And just now I tried to re-register under a different e-mail address (my board one that I made), and it said I couldn't register. What's the deal?
No problems here, maybe you typed it wrong? You can only have one account per email address, so if the email address has already been registered, then you can't register under it again.

It wouldn't let me log in at all! So I had it resend my password to my email (maybe I had gotten confused?) but that password didn't work either! So I moved to the computer where I was already logged in... but yeah, I got that same error

Well I got it to work in IE--but yeah, the original problem was in IE

(Honestly, I am normally a firefox person, but the other computer wasn't my own)

I normally use firefox yes, though I do use IE every now and then.

In case you haven't seen yet, that's 'cause of the power outage at BYU today. I was working when it happened. It was fun. I got to take a couple of minutes to talk to my dad before I went back to shelving.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

I submitted a question and it went to my the list of my questions immediately for me.

I don't claim to understand much (read: any) of what exactly happened, but I can say it was amusing for me to return from NE and find the inbox completely empty. I had to guess between a crash or a couple of hyperactive new writers with NO lives. As far as I can tell, until midnight last night the categories were lost, ie. 'my questions,' the archives ('all questions posted on this date,') etc. For the writers it meant the inbox appeared empty, but questions could be found by manually typing in the URL and answers were still able to be recorded. I think that this means that no questions were lost, just un-filed and dumped in a jumbled pile in the middle of the Lair. With some strict forced labor on 100 Typing Monkeys' part, we seem to have most everything back in order now.

It would have sad if mine were lost, because it is more than a week old, and all I could remember (before I reread it) was that I really wanted to know the answer. If it had been lost, I doubt I would remember it again... at least not any time soon!

I was kinda upset that the board couldn't answer my question about shotgun pellets, if only so I could ease my brother's mind on the subject.

With a bit of work you could probably come up with an estimate. It would be some fairly involved physics though.

Yeah, but I haven't taken physics yet. That's why I asked, because I know that the physics chick and Laser Jock are both pretty good at that kind of thing.

My mom turns 48 this Sunday. Everyone wish her a happy b-day! Actually, you don't have to announce it for her, but you can if you want.
