It's my fault. I'm guy repellent.
I'm not sure what that says about me...

What it mostly means is that there has been a feminine coup d'etat on the Board and you were one of the few men that we decided to allow on the Board.

Now if you step out of line...

#67236, where the Editors finally force-posted something written by CK in April! :D I'm just so proud that this actually posted. Good work!

It feels so weird to not have that at the top of the inbox anymore. It's been there since I started.

I know! To think, Zed, someday soon we're going to be writing for a Board that *doesn't* have questions that are thousands of hours overdue. It will be a momentous occasion.

Are you re-hiring The Cleaning Lady? Hooray, I love her!

Seriously, though, ancient questions happen from time to time. Or at least, they did while I was there. And the best way to get rid of them is to find a writer who is personally motivated to attack all the over-hours questions. If you guys are working on knocking out the last few of them, you'll probably be good for a while, though. Congrats!

Link. I really liked GA's answer here. Also, self-esteem issues are really hard, so I hope the reader felt helped.

Did Kirke mention a fiancée before and I just missed it? (Either way, congrats!)

I don't love the City Creek Mall, but I'm a sucker for a good Batman reference.

Hence my confusion at the Kirke and Anne coyness, because I saw that he was engaged in real life. I assumed she was a Board writer, because y'know, I'm on the hit squad to kill you if you marry outside The Family.

(Have fun, yayfulness, Zed, and other new writers!)

He considered making an announcement of sorts on the Board, but decided he didn't want to for some reason. Apparently, he couldn't keep quiet about it though ;)

Considering that he's what, 21? mayyybe 22, I feel old right now.

I think one of the reasons was that he thought it would give away his age/how recently he got back from his mission. Which didn't make sense to me, because his two-year hiatus from the Board made it kind of obvious...whatever, I'm just glad the word's out now :)

Something tells me that he's going to turn all "you guys, it's so easy to get married, you should all try it." Call me crazy.

This makes me laugh and cringe. :) Is there a word for that? Craugh? (Which could be misconstrued as crying and laughing - not bad.)

That's two jacket references I've seen in the past five minutes that I do not entirely understand because I missed the regional conference because missionaries apparently shouldn't fast all day on Sundays. Does anyone know if there's someplace I can watch a recording of it? (Probably not, I know.)
