I really liked that Genuine picked up on the reference to the book Owen. I still have my tattered copy somewhere. I loved that book!

Check out the easter egg in krebscout's answer! Look for the scripture in John.

Most people don't know that D.A.R.E. has hovertext for most, if not all, of his answers if you mouse over his signature.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.

It's definitely up there for answers I've spent the most time on...but it was a lot of fun, too. (Visualization is a fascinating field to me, although not one I could see myself pursuing a career in.)

I've perused one of this books, but I haven't really read/studied him. (I know, I should hang my head in shame.

) The thing is, I haven't really gotten around to studying visualization yet; it's just on my list of topics I'd like to learn more about. (And this question gave me a nice chance to dive in briefly.

)

No worries. You'll like him when you get to him, is all.

Both
BQ #71861 and
BQ #71848 have some perspectives that I feel are very useful to the Board, especially regarding faith, and the changes that can occur.

somehow knowing that Petra is also a grad school dropout really comforts me
also I liked this quote "His plan is like a well-written RPG--as long as I make the best choices I can, things will turn out OK."
