Well, he can't tell us who it is, but then at least he would know . . . and if you're saying he can't look, himself, then I guess the privacy restrictions have tightened up since my day.

They DEFINITELY have tightened up since your day. It's still possible for admin and editors (but not writers) to look at who wrote a question, but it's much more hidden. So you actually have to go searching for it and have a reason to do so. Idle curiosity is not considered a reason to look. [sigh]

Besides. I'd have to beat him if he looked and knew, but couldn't/wouldn't tell me. I'm too nosy for that. So for his own safety, it's better to just leave it alone.

Maybe I'll post a question asking who's getting married and then he'll have to look! (Because, you know, previous ethical concerns fly completely out the window if you're doing something to answer a Board question . . . )

(Oh, Clementine and Mr. Snizzles are getting married? That's so great for them! I always thought they would be a good match because of their . . . innate qualities.)
