The thread of ridiculous units of measure

Inspired by the fact that Zedability hates the Rankine scale, I propose a thread where you must say something very mundane, but substitute a ridiculous unit of measure for a more common unit of measure (or substitute a unit of measure that is ridiculous, under the circumstances).

E.g., for years my best friend thought she was taller than me because she always wears heels and I always wear flats, but I'm actually 64 million Angstroms taller than she is.
