Five most important LDS Films
Ok, so this was a question we discussed in class today. And I just wanted to get your thoughts on the matter. And since I think we'll all agree that the Testaments, Legacy, Joseph:Prophet of the Restoration, and other church released films will top the list, let's skip to the non church released films.
God's Army, one of the first films targeted to an LDS audience that was widely released
Singles Ward, one of two LDS comedies that I can always enjoy
Pride and Predijuce, the other comedy I always like
Turnaround, because of its prime examples of how easy it is to get Mormons to see an LDS film (the movie is not worth seeing)
New York Doll, Really good filmmaking

I think that Pride and Predjudice should be one of them (but I'm deeply bias).
As for really important LDS films (for LDS), Singles Ward and The Best Two Years are the only two I've seen (besides P&P) that I feel would qualify. I've heard great things of New York Doll and Saints and Soldiers, but since I haven't seen them, I can't give an honest opinion.

Never seen Singles Ward.
I just watched Singles 2nd Ward this weekend. There were a lot of jokes from all of the Hale Storm movies.
RM was okay.
Baptists at our BBQ was lame.
Home Teachers had a great soundtrack.
The Best 2 Years I actually liked.
However, I absolutely love One Smooth Stone, from the Liken the Scriptures series. Actually, I enjoyed them all...
Yep. Liken the Scriptures trumps all.

But thick as you are, pay attention!
