I used to have a roommate like that. It was scary. We almost wouldn't go in the kitchen if she was there. Not only that, but she would lie to the bishop about having a hard time (we went to him because I was too scared to go visiting teaching with her, and he talked to her, and she pretended like no...

I might be up for a, like, secret meeting (though the thought of still being awake at midnight, not to mention starting festivities, makes my eyes hurt) if you give me enough warning that I can borrow my sister's car to come down. You'll know it's me when you see someone wearing a red hat a la Carme...

I was talking to my uncle tonight, and we were talking about reading people's blogs, and he started telling me about this one girl's blog that he started reading because she worked for the 100 hour board... yeah, that was weird. Anyway, Duchess is still before my time (I'm closing in on the end of 2...

Mine's really not very good, because I reformatted my hard drive at Christmas, then, um, quit school so stopped listening to as much music, except on Sundays. So like all of mine are Sunday music. I'll go through and list the ones that aren't just Sunday songs, because that's really not interesting....

My writing technique switches back and forth between linear and random. Some of my best stories were when I wrote a couple of 'core scenes' then worked out from them (that's the style my Creative Writing prof used), but I've also gone linearly just with a word prompt in mind to keep me moving forwar...

I got introduced to something yesterday that helped me get writing. It's called Write or Die
Just a tip, take it or leave it!
Edited because I have done html all day so couldn't do this brackets business.

What are these global searches that have recently graced us? As much as I'm desperate to know about assaltar neopets I am slightly confused why they're here.

Snow
I'm just Curious. Facebook told me that it snowed in Provo after all. How much? We have 4 inches here. An inch before we woke up and then constant snowfall since around noon. *sigh* You can talk about how excited you are for the snow, or any other snow-related topic as well, to make this new thread ...

Am I seriously the only ENTP? Rad! I axed my friend, in true Halloween style, to take the political test, since he's a quintessential ENTP. You can go on feeling unique (he doesn't even read the Board, let alone write for it, which makes you that much cooler than he is) and we can have more data. Y...

I'm an ISFJ (33 75 12 44), which has only caused me trouble. And I didn't really like the political compass test (there are some things I have no opinion on, some things I don't know enough about, and some things that, as a plant geneticist, I am still confused about) but my score was Economic: -1.5...

Commander Keen = Chandler
I knew it. And that's what I get for procrastinating. (Look forward to seeing a similar leading question in the next few days from yours truly.)
Anyway, glad you're here Commander.

Sometimes I feel bad spurting out something completely random and not applicable to the situation at hand, but today I'm deciding to do it anyway. I just had the greatest idea for my writer pseudonym if ever I were to be a writer. Which I won't be, since I'm not a BYU Student and I am also too lazy....

Yay! Good luck with your major change, Unit of Energy. Sometimes departments are, uh, silly. My vote, ladies and gentleman, is for a prompt a week. Unless you all want to do it more often. (But that gives me a week after the first prompt to try and figure out what my novel's going to be about apart ...

Your arguments all did me in. I'll join. (It's not like I have anything better to do.) Here is my profile...I think. I would be pleased to be your writing buddies. And as for the game, I'm not sure I want to have to give my entire novel a theme, but I do like the idea of distributing word prompts. M...
