Question 63327

I have no constructive comment on this question, I thought maybe I should post here.

This reminded me of this comic:

There's a lot involved here, but one point I'd like to make is that dogs pick up a lot of their food queues from their owners. So if an owner really likes a particular food, odds are the dog will like it too. Be careful what you feed your dog, though, as their digestive systems are very different than ours.

Just to be clear, I have never considered feeding my dogs razors.

My dogs very happily ate leftover eggplant the other night, which kind of surprised me...

One of my dogs eats rocks on a regular basis, so I'm never surprised when he is excited to eat other, more edible, foods.

Yeah, my neighbor back home had a dog that would eat flattened, partially desiccated toads from the road (it was impossible to avoid running over them at night), as well as his own feces.

The Navajo word for "dog" means "poop-eater," roughly.
