Dog food
Re: Dog food
There's a lot involved here, but one point I'd like to make is that dogs pick up a lot of their food queues from their owners. So if an owner really likes a particular food, odds are the dog will like it too. Be careful what you feed your dog, though, as their digestive systems are very different than ours.

Re: Dog food
Just to be clear, I have never considered feeding my dogs razors.

Re: Dog food
My dogs very happily ate leftover eggplant the other night, which kind of surprised me...

Re: Dog food
One of my dogs eats rocks on a regular basis, so I'm never surprised when he is excited to eat other, more edible, foods.

Re: Dog food
Yeah, my neighbor back home had a dog that would eat flattened, partially desiccated toads from the road (it was impossible to avoid running over them at night), as well as his own feces.UnluckyStuntman wrote:One of my dogs eats rocks on a regular basis, so I'm never surprised when he is excited to eat other, more edible, foods.

The Navajo word for "dog" means "poop-eater," roughly.Laser Jock wrote:Yeah, my neighbor back home had a dog that would eat flattened, partially desiccated toads from the road (it was impossible to avoid running over them at night), as well as his own feces.UnluckyStuntman wrote:One of my dogs eats rocks on a regular basis, so I'm never surprised when he is excited to eat other, more edible, foods.
