My college has had a Quidditch team for about 3 years. It's actually a lot of fun to watch, it's more fun than regular sports (Marduk), and no one I know has ever gotten hit by a broom, though I have plenty of friends who have gotten hit by balls in "real" sports that have been SEVERELY injured them (like my friend who got hit in the face with a baseball so hard that it BROKE HIS FACE).UnluckyStuntman wrote:"Lame" is probably the nicest way to describe it... it just looks... sad.Digit wrote:Quidditch comes to college campuses. I don't know, running around on the field with a broom between your legs seems kind of lame to me. Plus, that little face mask isn't going to help much if another player's broomstick pokes into your mouth or neck.
Sorry, I'm very protective of this sport because we were one of the first colleges to play it, and it was a lot of fun. And nothing you do in life comes without risk. I don't think people should play football because of the increase in brain injuries and it looks like a sad sport to me.
but more importantly, my dog needs to stop waking me up at 6:30am during my summer break!!!!! i get it, you have poops! I WANT TO SLEEP TINY DOG!
